Easy Listening

Like most, there’s at least one song, album, or playlist that just transports you… you’re belting out the lyrics, you’re laughing, or maybe you’re crying (there’s always some of that, too). Or that playlist you can put on and just run and run, and sometimes you realize that song was the only reason you made it through or finished. Or if you’re like us, you spend your weekend in the garden for hours and hours with your favorite playlist blaring.

As much as we love sharing everything and anything about climate-smart CEA, we appreciate a pause to share the things that keep us smiling. While we were conflicted as team about our first two playlists (we do have a soft spot for the late 90s and early 2000s), we wanted to create a playlist that works in the office, in the garden, with your morning coffee or the end of the day. And after a hectic few days of meetings, we tend to love something towards the end of the week. If you’re looking for something to slow down to try Vol. 2— slightly more melodic and dreamy with more instrumentals. Vol. 1 is your dinner party or project companion— it’ll keep you focused without breaking your concentration. And while we’d happily play all of these on repeat, we have a serious thing for Σtella & Redinho, Oracle Sisters, Unknown Metal Orchestra, and Khruangbin. “Charmed” by Σtella & Redinho will blow you away— we are currently playing this on repeat.
